Workstation Jib Cranes
Ideally suited for repetitive lifting and motion activities
Workstation jib cranes are a great substitute for traditional, heavy I-Beam Jib Cranes. These jibs are designed to service circular areas and support lift assist devices such as tool balancers, vacuum lifters and hoists. When floor mounted, they can accommodate up to a 360 rotation. Capacities are available from 100 lbs. to 1000 lbs. with spans up to 16 ft. Our test data show that only one pound of force exerted by the operator is necessary to move 100-lbs of suspended load. Wow, now that’s productivity!
Features:
- Capacities from 100 lb. to 1000 lb., with spans up to 16 ft.
- Offer 360° rotation.
- Most can be bolted directly to existing floor without adding special foundations.
- Utilize enclosed track for the boom assembly, which reduces dead weight for easier rotation than traditional I-beam jibs.
- Feature a retaining pin through the pivot pin to help resist accidental upward dis-lodgement of the boom assembly.
- Includes hoist trolley.
- Roller bearings provide for unsurpassed ease of movement.

Articulated Boom Workstation Cranes
Articulated workstation cranes are a productive and ergonomic solution for handling materials in hard to reach areas like around corners and building columns, into the back of a truck at the shipping dock.
Major Advantages:
- Capacities up to 2,000-lbs
- Spans up to 16′
- Mast heights up to 14′
- 360 degree rotation on freestanding and ceiling mounted systems
- 200 degree rotation on column & wall mounted units
- Freestanding Jibs
- Ceiling Mounted Jibs
- Column & Wall Mounted Jibs
Articulated Boom Lift Assist
Articulated Jib cranes are widely considered the most ergonomic jibs in the material handling industry. The bearings used in our jib assures effortless and smooth rotation allowing loads to be moved freely throughout the entire work envelope. Air or electrical lines are internal to the arms with rotating swivels or collector rings to maintain a continuous 360° rotation at each pivot location. Capacities range from 80 lbs. to 1,625 lbs. with radial reaches up to 15 feet. Each rotation joint is equipped with Timken tapered roller bearings, pre-greased and sealed providing a 5:1 safety factor. The end of the arm can accommodate a wide range of hoists, balancers, rigid-lifters, end effectors, and tool-plates.
ASE offers standard and custom end tooling with other material handling equipment to creating a complete ergonomic lift assist system that reduces worker injury and increases productivity.
Articulated Jib + Torque Arm
Mounting a Torque Arm to an Articulated Jib Crane creates a very efficient and cost effective method for handling difficult loads that require tilting, turning or rotation and is ideally suited for reaching into or under overhead encumbered areas. A few work cell examples include Machining Centers, Loading Docks, Presses, and Paint Lines.
Tooling Options:
The Torque Arm can be outfitted with any number end tooling, from simple tools like forks, cradles, fashioned hooks & scissor type grippers to powered tools like vacuum cups, magnetic grasp & powered grippers
Articulated Jib + Column Lifter
ASE offers a “Rigid Column Lift” (RCL) that when attached to the Articulated Jibs secondary arm that provides a rigid lifting system that delivers and especially high lift in work areas where headroom is a premium and payload reach-out is required. Ergonomically designed for hard to access work areas, the RCL incorporates an operator’s handlebar that stays in position throughout the vertical work envelope. The RCL can be equipped with a Pneumatic Overload Circuit which eliminates unsafe lifting conditions and protects delicate payloads.
